One Blood
In 2007 I collaborated with professional dancers, artists and medical experts in order to create a performance exploring the many aspects of blood-flow in the body.
We worked with students at St Paul's Way Community School in Tower Hamlets, and I took a weekly class of the Performance Arts students to explore ideas and work out how to apply music to the project. We covered a lot of ground - from Drum 'n Bass and Banghra to body sounds and systems music.
Your Blood 2
In 2009 I composed and performed music and sounds for the animation Your Blood 2; a story written with a Bangladeshi theme, to encourage people to improve their diets. The music spanned from classical-style flutes and strings to Bangladeshi-inspired melodies.
Jazz arrangement for Treble Recorder and piano
I was commisioned by Pandora Haydon, a Recorder student, to create a jazz piece for her to perform at a school concert, with myself accompanying at the piano. I based the style on the playing of swing Clarinettist Benny Goodman.
